WHAT IS THE GROUP DOG TRAINING - LEVEL 2?

 

Our Level 2 Course brings those in our Found by the Hound community together for more challenging training and to build a better relationship with your dog. In a safe and positive environment, train alongside other like-minded, dog enthusiasts while you learn new skills and further your handling skills.

 

Our Level 2 course is a 4 week intensive training program catering to owners that wish to progress beyond basic commands, sharpen their dog’s responsiveness and build toward advanced training. Our Level 2 course focuses on developing the respect and bond between owner and dog by ensuring that you are the most significant figure and therefore hold their attention in various real-world scenarios.

 

WHY GROUP DOG TRAINING LEVEL 2?

 

We cannot pre-empt what may or may not happen when we are out, but we can prepare you. When faced with certain situations, it’s important that you can trust in your dog to comply on the first command. During our Level 2 lessons, we work with you so that you can apply your training into everyday scenarios, giving you the tools to face any situation with confidence and ease. We challenge the owner and their dog to complete training exercises under the distraction of other dogs and real world occurrences. We help you become more significant to your dog, therefore, building a stronger relationship. We start by teaching you in a controlled environment and as you both progress we challenge the dogs with higher levels of distraction.

 

OUR DIFFERENCE? 

 

Unlike many organisations, Found by the Hound’s Level 2 course offers owners and their dogs a more practical alternative to private obedience training. These sessions will equip owners with the tools and the confidence to handle their dog under distraction and in real life situations, not just in the comfort of their own home.

 

 

DETAILS

 

Our Level 2 Course is a 4 week course with hourly lessons once a week. It is for the owners who wish to develop their training skills beyond the basics and take it to the next level. Your dog will attend every lesson of this course.

• Heel - (to walk beside you)

• Effective communication skills

• Getting your dog to look to you for direction

• Sit

• Sit/Stay

• Stand

• Getting dogs to respond to Verbal Only commands

• Getting dogs to respond to Hand Signal commands
